A local crew that answers the phone and finishes what it starts
Elegant Landscaping is Blade Lewis and a small crew working out of Rapid City. We mow, aerate, seed, sod, build walls and patios, and put in sprinkler systems for homes across Rapid City and Box Elder.
Three things we will not do
Plenty of contractors will tell you what they do well. These are the things we have decided not to do, which is usually more useful for figuring out whether we are a fit.
We do not quote a price and then change it
The number you agree to is the number you pay. If we find something underground that genuinely changes the job, we stop and talk to you before we keep going. No surprise line items at the end.
We do not sub out the work
Blade's crew does the work with our own skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, and compactors. That is why we can hold a start date and why there is one person to call if something is not right.
We do not sell you work you do not need
If seed is a better buy than sod for your yard, we will say so, even though sod is the bigger invoice. If it is the wrong month to aerate, we will tell you to wait.
And one thing we always do
We clean up. Concrete gets blown off, the site gets picked up, and we walk the finished work with you before we call it done.
Who shows up at your house
Blade Lewis
Blade runs every project from the first walkthrough to the final cleanup. He handles the quoting, the hardscape and grading work, and he is the one who picks up when you call.
Luke Beranek
Luke handles sod installation and turf preparation. He focuses on grading, soil prep, and the establishment work that decides whether a new lawn takes or fails.
Fully licensed and insured
We carry liability insurance and we can send you a certificate before we start if you want to see it. Ask and we will email it over the same day. That matters more than most people realize on hardscape and machinery work, because if an uninsured contractor damages a utility line or a neighbor's property on your lot, that can land on you.
